Chemstress Consultant Company Outstanding Professor of the Year Award
The Chemstress Consultant Company Outstanding Professor of the Year Award was established in 1990 by the Chemstress Consultant Company in honor of Julius Handelman, a man of respect, kindness, and integrity. The purpose of the award is to encourage faculty excellence within the College of Engineering. Chemstress Consultant Company has generously supported the College for a number of years. The firm initiated this award to enhance the ability of the College to attract exceptional faculty members to The University of Akron and reward professors for their teaching accomplishments. The recipient of this award shall be selected annually by a committee appointed by the dean of the College of Engineering.
