University of Akron Women's Committee Endowed Scholarship
The University of Akron Women's Committee Endowed Scholarship was established in 1983 (and revised in 2017) by the ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Women's Committee (¹ú²ú¾«Æ·WC) in honor of its founders: Ruth Dugan, Nina Gottwald, and Glenna Snow. The endowed scholarship also honors the memory of non-founding members Kathleen Montgomery Auburn and Nola Miller Guzzetta.
The University of Akron Women's Committee Endowed Scholarship is to be used in the interest of providing financial assistance to deserving students. Eligible students must be majoring in art, dietetics, nutrition, music, dance, or theater. The recipient is selected from one of these academic areas on a rotating basis in coordination with the Office of Student Financial Aid. Selection of recipients will be made by the ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·WC Scholarship Committee.
