Young, Robert E. Endowed Scholarship for Exellence
Mr. Robert E. Young was the great-grandson of Allen Carlton, a Universalist scholar who collaborated with John R. Buchtel to found Buchtel College. Mr. Young has provided a bequest to The University of Akron, which will be used to establish The Robert E. Young Endowed Scholarship for Exellence. It was Mr. Young's intention that his support would be used to bring exceptional students to the University.
