Daverio, George W. School of Accountancy Advisory Board Endowed Fund
The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy Advisory Board Endowed Fund was created as a means for advisory board members and friends of the School of Accountancy to provide support to students pursuing a degree in accounting and to the School of Accountancy's faculty members.
The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy Advisory Board Endowed Fund may be used to award scholarships to students majoring in accounting or tax at the undergraduate or graduate level. Scholarships may also be awarded to incoming freshman with a declared major/intent to major in accounting. Scholarship awards will be determined by a faculty committee from the School of Accountancy with preference given to students with high academic achievement. The fund may also be used to support the School of Accountancy and its faculty through furthering classroom instruction; supporting professional development activities; supporting recruiting and retention activities; and supporting academic research. It is the intent of this endowment to support the needs of the School of Accountancy, faculty, and its students.
