Ubelhart, Gary T. and Carol A. 鈥�86 Scholarship
The Gary T. and Carol A. ’86 Ubelhart Scholarship was established in 2002 by Linda A. and Paul A. Herold in honor of Linda’s parents, Gary T. and Carol A. Ubelhart. Three of the Ubelharts’ children hold degrees from The University of Akron, as did Mrs. Ubelhart. The Ubelharts strongly believed in the value of hard work, independent thinking, and education. This scholarship is intended to provide to others the opportunities for growth that the Ubelharts helped provide to their children.
The scholarship is granted at the discretion of the donors, with attention given to academic and co-curricular achievement and financial need. The $1,000 scholarship will be presented annually to an undergraduate student.
