Holloway, Donald P. Endowment
Donald P. Holloway comes from a family with a history of appreciation for the arts and education. Donald’s paternal grandfather graduated from Oberlin’s Conservatory of Music. His father received his master's degree at The Ohio State University, and his mother received her master's degree from The University of Akron. Following this legacy, Donald P. Holloway received his bachelor’s degree in finance in 1950, a LLD from The University of Akron in 1955, and a master's in library science in 1962. One of Donald’s passions is architecture.
He has taken six architectural tours in Europe and tries to tour a different country each year. This special interest in architecture led to his appreciation for Hower House and the establishment of The Donald P. Holloway Endowment. It is Donald’s intention that funds from this endowment be used by The Friends of Hower House to help meet the expenses of priority projects.
