Daverio, Joanne J. Scholarship in Fine and Applied Arts
The Joanne J. Daverio Scholarship in Fine and Applied Arts was established to honor the memory of Joanne, a 1959 graduate with a degree in speech. Throughout her lifetime, Joanne remained involved with The University of Akron, and she served as a member of the College of Fine and Applied Arts Advancement Council from 1997 to 1999. The scholarship will provide financial assistance for a student enrolled in one of the programs within the College of Fine and Applied Arts. The recipient will be selected annually by the dean of the College in coordination with the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
