Hansel Family Scholarship for Athletics
The Hansel Family Scholarship for Athletics was established in February 1993 by John R. and Sandy Hansel, dedicated supporters and fans of The University of Akron athletic program, on behalf of the entire Hansel family to endow the ‘quarterback position’ on the football team. Each year, funds from this endowment will be designated for the scholarship of an individual who plays quarterback on the team.
