What to do if you…
Experience significant changes in financial circumstances:
If your financial circumstances have changed significantly since you submitted your FAFSA, you may request a re-evaluation of your financial aid eligibility.

Want to review your bill online:
¹ú²ú¾«Æ· does not mail bills for tuition and fees to your home. Instead, you’ll receive an email notification that your electronic bill (eBill) is ready to view in your My Akron account.
- In early July 2021, the eBill notification will be sent to your Zips email inbox
To review your current charges and your due date, go to the Finance header of the Student Center in .
Need to pay your bill:
You have several options for paying your bill, including applying for the Installment Payment Plan in My Akron, which allows you to make up to four payments throughout the semester instead of paying all at once.
Choose the payment option that’s best for you:
- web payments using credit cards and e-checks
- mail a check or money order
- financial aid
- third-party payments and scholarships
- installment plan
- International payment

Want to grant access to a family member to pay your bill:
You can set up an "authorized user" in My Akron, such as a parent, who can make payments to your account. View instructions for authorizing a parent.

Some courses have e-content available to you and are included as part of your tuition. Before purchasing/renting a textbook, you may want to check with your professors to find out if e-content is available for your courses.
